Designed for Krita, but should work with any application that support the format.
Create a palette from any image. Note: Palettes can be very big. You can use my image
quantization
tool, to reduce number of colors.

Krita: shorten name

Download started
.
Your palette filename must be: [PALETTE_FILENAME],
DO NOT RENAME
.
Use the
shorten filename
option. To automatically limit the palette name length. This is require for some application.
To save the image palette, simple
right click on the palette, and select
Save as image...
If the palette does not load "make sure", the original image filename does include any odd characters.
Krtia bug: If the palette does not load, you may need to close Krita, and reopen before you can load another palette.
